Students and staff are great! I worked in a private school for 8 years and when I came here after working in a larger city school I felt like I was back at the private school.
I am a parent of 2 children who attend Glenwood Elementary. I believe overall our elementary school has experienced teachers who do care about our children's education and strive the best to make sure the children benefit from the education they are receiving. The availability of music and sports is considerably well, but I think we need more in the art department. Our quality of academic programs is up to standard. We do emphasize alot on the end of the year testing to compare with other schools within Arkansas and the country. Our principal is caring and tries to be involved as much as possible. Our lack of parent involvement may be counted towards the possibility of work related. We would like to see more parent involvement, not only in sports, but our PTO. I would suggest anyone who lives in our district to have their children enrolled here.
