Overall I rate Harrisburg Middle School as good. The problem I have is that my grandchild attended elementry school last year and now is in middle school. In elementry school parent involvement was highly encouraged and actively promoted. Here in Middle School it's as if the parent doesn't even exist, except to pick up his/her childs report card. If your child makes a low grade on a particular subject during the week, it is the next week before we find out about it, which is to late to help him/her because they have moved on in that class.
