Hope High School is a cheap and sleazy place. Many of the teachers are inadequate who don't interact well with the students, who give only the barebones and have fun talking on their cellphones all day. Our school decided to spend 5 MILLION on a SPORTS facility, when our education department is lacking severely. Sports are what is focused on most, which is an utter shame. In addition, this year our school has the New Tech program, which is where the money not funded on sports is being cancelled into. If you're not in either program, you don't matter. The campus is an utter mess. Bird droppings and trash are all over the place. None of the courses are stimulating; it's pathetic. Violence, drugs, and alcohol are all problems in our city. Don't send your kid here. Advice straight from a student who has been in the district for years.

I THINK HOPE HIGH SCHOOL IS GREAT! MY SON IS REALLY SMART, HE'S IN GIFTED & TALENTED, ROBOTICS, QUIZ BOWL & THE NEW SCIENCE PROGRAM. I THINK THEY HAVE ALOT TO OFFER OUR KIDS! I KNOW MY SON HAS RECEIVED A GOOD EDUCATION SO FAR AND SEE NO REASON WHY IT SHOULDN'T CONTINUE. HE LOVES IT AND HIS TEACHERS.

This school need some serious changes. They have new programs that is suppose to help children but it will not help them if the teachers and the administration does not work together and make sure that the programs they have invested in are working. Also, they have counslers and principals that have been their since moses was here and they need to leave because we have a new generation of students and things are not the way they use to be, so therefore we need new counslers, principles, and teachers that can understand the students. In this day and time we need counslers that can counsel instead of make damn schedules everyday like thats a all day everyday job. Just to sum everything up, some of the administratiors and teachers are full of shit!!! There are plenty of teachers that are willing and very helpful also.
