Yerger Junior High....the real name...has its ups and downs...the teachers...some of them...are the nicest people in the city others....won't say names....are very poor examples....The students on the other hand are normal teenage students....though a few bad incidents from the 8th grade girls...but...hey thats their fault....Yerger has spirit 'by those few students that care' (most of them only care about the boys/girls and basketball and football) Yerger is a normal school i give it a 3....

I have taught in this school since 1999. The challenges at this school are not unlike those you find in many other school districts. There are students and teachers who exceed the standards and some who do not. Overall, there is good collaboration between faculty, parents, and administration. Those students who wish to excel have ample opportunity to do so. I can't speak for other classes, but students walk the line in my class. There is a great sense of team spirit in the school and some wonderful people in this town. Don't let negative attitudes scare you, there are some great things going on at this school and in this district.
