My children have enjoyed their years at Oaklawn. My youngest son has down syndrome, and the love and fabulous help he has recieved have been phenominal. The focus on the arts provides such a rich environment for young minds. There is a feeling of comaraderie among the teachers. They have a great playground as well, which matters to a child. love the school, wish we never had to leave.

The teachers and staff at this school have the uncanny ability to meet the variety of needs in each classroom. Even my own two children are like night and day, yet each of them gets what is needed from their teachers. What great activities! What great support! Way to go Oaklawn VPA!

My son has attended oaklawn since kindergarden and he's now in his last year(5th grade) and it's been a great school as far as him learning, and most importantly the teachers really care about the students and their education. We both are going to miss being there next yr. And all the staff and teachers, thank you for caring, you are great at what you do.
