I was once a student at this awesome school , I can honestly say I am still a Mustang! I now have 4 children enrolled at this school of my heart, and I also sub here. I can say I do now and will always 'BLEED GREEN!'
We moved to this school from a much larger school district last year. Our former school was considered to be the best elementarty school in it's district and I volunteerd there every day. So when we moved, I was nervous to say the least. But my kids love thier new school and they're not into sports at all! Hoxie doesn't have as high test score as our former school but it's becase they don't just teach to the test, which was what our former elementarty school did. Hoxie offers more in science and social studies than our other school ever dreamed of! My oldest son, a fifth grder, is in the eccelerated learning program, which again is a much better program at Hoxie. I have found the teachers and principle very approachable and genuinely concerned about my children.
