This is the first year that I have attended Nettleton High and I have really enjoyed it. Many of the students that I have talked to have a negative aspect towards the school. If we could decrease some of the discipline problems it would be great. Although the classes are much harder than the school that I came from i still am doing good.

As a student NHS is one of the best schools I personally have attended. The teachers are very active in teaching, although parent involvement with teachers is not high the school has the online grade program. With which teachers, parents, and students can keep up with grades and work in order to aid the student. The fine arts programs are not huge but for thier size top of the line. Most of the sports made it to state and highly regarded. As far as classes some of the best classes possible to take before college are available at Nettleton High School.

Nettleton High School does little to ensure the success of their students. They encourage failure of their students by administering unrealistic attendance policies which do not allow for major tragic illnesses. No time is allowed for make up work, so students regularly do not succeed in their classes. Staff and teachers have little or no communication with parents, so the parents are unaware of the situation until it is too late to correct it.
