This is my 8th grade daughters first year At WCC middle school. This school has been such a blessing for our entire family. The academics are challenging but attainable. She has made great quality friends. What the school lacks in size, it makes up for in character!

I attended as a child K-12 and now my children attend this school. WCC is very supportive of community and family, and I feel blessed to be a part of a school where you are not just another face... another file. The staff truly cares about students and there was NEVER an issue of a 'who's who' hierarchy (as a previous review put it), when it comes to who gets education and who doesn't. ?? My 3 children have very good grades and all learn differently. WCC is more and more progressive each year in their teaching methods and the teachers do a GREAT job in adapting/welcoming necessary or required changes in teaching techniques. Students are very safe here and it is in a nice quiet country area. As I have heard it put, it is one of the best kept secrets in the state of Arkansas... and I agree!!!

I love this school because of the family atmosphere. I went to this school as a child and it hasnt changed except for getting bigger. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are always smiling. I would not have my children in anther school. My kids are very educated and make wonderful grades in math and reading. I thank the teaching staff for that. I love all of you.

As a former student from this high school who attended here K-12, I feel I'm qualified to speak about my experiences. I believe that Central has a long way to go when it comes to developing a student-centered school as opposed to the 'who's who' hierarchy that determines one's likelihood of receiving an education. Teachers throughout my education focused on classical teaching methods with the majority of lessons being teacher to student oriented. There were few opportunities for constructivist or discovery learning inside the classroom, and Central had very little concern for creating world citizens (I think that I went on one field trip during my 13 year stay). My only saving grace was a nearby college program at Harding University where I was exposed to a different way of life and a quality education. This school needs a serious change of administration. Don't agree? .... Investigate the test scores!
