Academically speaking I would say that this school is average. There are not a whole lot of specialty classes. Music and sports are very important in this school district also being the best quality that the school has-availability of extracurricular classes. Art is very underfunded in this school district, they do not put much stock into the program. Parent involvement in this school is very high! Although at Elementary Level they do no have a PTA(PTO). Opportunities for special needs are lackluster and almost non-existent. Most children with sever special needs are bussed to another local district for a very restrictive-type environment. In high school levels there are excellent opportunities for accelerated students. Such as college classes/credit. Children interested in athletics and accelerated classes would benefit from this school. Children who are interested in art or have special needs would not do well here.
