Morrilton High School has some great kids, a lot of potential, and some great teachers, but is being held back by lack of experience on an administrational level. The aura of MHS is pathetic. The teachers and students both sense it, and it drags the whole school down. On the other side, MHS does have good things, nice new facilities, limited technology in classrooms, many clubs and organizations with a good history of winning state and national competitions, and even decent athletics. Overall, Morrilton High School is a decent school, but could be and should be much better.

This school seems to be very biased. To be acknowledged you must fall in the 'who you know' category. Students whose parents are well liked in the community are allowed to slide with their behavior or they are given priviledges they wouldn't normally receive. The education is average. The extra curricular activities are plentiful. There are some excellent teachers at this school, unfortunately those in leadership roles leave something to be desired.

The teachers do not help you. They just give you work and expect you to know how to do it. Half the teachers dont even pay attention to what is going on in the classroom.
