I would like to rate this school a 2. Because of the way they are trying to make the school. Half charter and half regular school. To me it's no different, my child who is in reg. first grade goes to a charter reading teacher, so what's up with that. Also, the teachers don't teach anymore. They send home the work for the parents to teach. The kids might as well be home-schooled. Most parents in this town have jobs, are one parent homes, no parent homes, parents going to school full time and holding down a job, so that makes parents like us unable to teach things to our kids that should have been taught at school. Teachers it's time to start back teaching. What are we sending our cildren there for if they are not being taught? I feel my tax dollars should be used for my childs education.

My child has mrs. Stokes in the 3rd grade. I think mrs. Stokes is a wonderful teacher. She had done so much this year to expose the children to different cultural experience. I think we have some wonderful teacher at west elementary who care about the children and does the best they can with what they have to work with. I have been blessed with chairty's teachers. She has had some good teacher since entering into osceola school district. Keep up the good work. You are doing a great job.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
