I attended Pine Bluff High from 1979-1980. My oldest son attended from 1995-1998, my daughter from 1999-2002, my middle son from 2001-2004 and my youngest son from 2004-2007. I can honestly say that this school has taken some hits over the past thirty years, but I see positive growth every time I ride by the campus. It is a wonderful school and I'm happy that me and my children are alumni of PBHS.
Pine Bluff High has really opened my horizons. The typical cliches about high school haven't affected me. People talk about how cliques can ruin a student's life, but I've noticed that at PBHS you can be anyone you want to be and have friends doing all sorts of activities. The Fighting Zebras really excell in track and basketball, but there's also golf, tennis, football, baseball, and then many art-focused teams. An orchestra, A Cappella choir, a fantastic art club, a very active history club, and the list goes on. If you can think of something you want to do, they most likely have it!
I'm not a parent, but as a Pine Bluff High School Alum, I really feel that Pine Bluff High is a great choice to send your child. Besides all of the extracurricular activities that the school provides, the school is committed to excellence and also committed to helping students further their education. My time spent there is where I hold some of my fondest memories. The teachers are there to help as much as possible. Also, being a former Pine Bluff High School athlete, I feel that I must speak on the subject. The
Pine Bluff High School is a great place for young adults to excell and blossom into young mature adults. Going int my second year at PBHS I can honestly say this school has a great academic atmosphere. We are also full of school spirit and we love our sports. We are also very supportive of our arts as well. We have many ways for you to exprss yourself at Pine Bluff High, rather its in clubs, sports, arts or other organizations. This is a great school and a wonderful choice for your child!
Pine Bluff High School is a great school for anyone to visit and to attend. I encourage everone to listen to their band and go to their basket and football games. They really have good teams. The teachers are great and cool to hang around with. They also has one of the best ROTC programs in the state of Arkansas. At this time as a student at PBHS I would like to thank all the voters that voted on the school bond. We are waiting to be in our new class rooms.
This school is not the best choice to go to. But it isn't the worst. If I had to pick a school I would not pick this one.
This school is awsome! This year will be my second year attending PBHS. Pine Bluff High not only has a great band but also a great orchestra, choir, football, soccer, baseball and softball, tennis, and track team. The teachers here are awsome. The students are fun to. You will be making a great choice by sending your child here to PBHS home of the 'Fighting Zebras'.
Pine Bluff High School has a really great band. They perform really well I think they should be invited more places so people would geta chance to hear how great they are. This school is really wonderful.
