I graduated from Rose Bud in 2002, and I can only pray my kid's are as fortunate as I was when it comes to having such a great environment to learn . There were people like mr and mrs wilborg, WHo live ther lives with great morals and provide excellent leadership. Mrs Harrison who makes you feel like one of her own kids, and teaches you that it is all about what is inside your head, and that you are your only restraint in life. I had a great group of teachers and most of them still teach there. Mr .Prothro who spots leadership and potential in everyone, He got me one of my first jobs outside of my families farm. I would suggest this shcool to anyone that wants there kids to grow up smart, self confident and become a go getter. Still today I receive motivation from these teachers through facebook. What a shcool.
I recently graduated from Rose Bud in 2008 and I think it is an excellent school for anyone. Coming from a much larger district in Memphis, TN, Rose Bud was a huge change. Everything about RB from the teachers, to the students, to the atmosphere was amazing during my time there. The small town school environment really gives a sense of belonging to people, which is what I think a lot of kids are looking for. There are tons of clubs to be involved in and awesome athletic programs as well. Any high school education and experience is what you make out of it.
I moved from a larger district to Rose Bud and excelled. Teachers like Mrs. Harrison helped me to stay focused, keep my grades up and prepared me to face the future. Which, they all let me know was whatever I chose to make of it. I wish that I lived close enough for my children to attend Rose Bud. I think it is a great school, with a great staff and a positive environment.
I graduated rose bud in 2005 and there are really great teachers there and they do alot of one on one with the students. Which is wonderful. They are small but care about the students. They are growing every year though. I know that when my son begins school he will be going to rose bud.
I have two teenagers who currently attend Rosebud. Since we have moved here my oldest child is really struggling. She came from a larger school making the honor roll and now can barely manage to keep her grades average. The other is struggling here too. They say the teachers aren't thorough enough. I don't think they keep the parents in the loop enough.
I feel that Rose Bud High School's education was lacking in all areas. When I went to college I realized that I had not been adequately prepared. My instructors would skip a lot of information because 95% of the class had or should have already seen it. I started off every class behind, especially the sciences.
We moved here in 2000 and My Oldest daughter Graduated 2005 with Honors! and I Thank all of her Teachers for that. But mainly Ms Harrison & Ms Hendrix. They both knew the ability my daughter had.. I also have a Daughter that started Kindergarten 2000 Rose Bud Teachers seem to bond with the children and give them a push to do their best. They are there if you ever want to talk about the progress of your child and help when they know there is a problem. They have added Dance & Football to their Atheletes Department. So there is also Fun in Rose Bud. Overall the Schools are Great and so are the Teachers. ;o)~
I graduated from Rose Bud in 2004. There are some really great teachers there such as Mrs. Harrison in the advanced math class. But there are some teachers who don't give much attention to you. I have a brother, a brother in law, and 2 cousins graduating soon From RB. The dance team is really good and deserve more credit than they have recieved. The basketball team and the band are both really good. All in all Rose Bud is a pretty good school to send your children to.
I think going to a small hometown school is great. Although Rose Bud Schools are continuously growing. I graduated from there and have a sibling that has graduated and two that follow. We have all loved it. I have a child entering kindergarten this year and am looking forward to it. Great things can come in small packages.
The High School has really good, caring teachers. My only complaint is that I don't get notified quickly enough about my child's falling grades. Mr. Holt is a great principal, Ms. Becky is an awesome secretary. Mr. Holder has created probably the best band in all of Arkansas and his devotion to his students is something to be desired and admired! The school in a whole is really great. This is the first time we've had exposure to a small town school. My husband and I are both from Large cities and were not sure what to think about Rose Bud, but I do reccommend this school to anyone interested in sending their child!
