Sheridan Intermediate School

SIS is a wonderful school. When I walk in I always feel welcome. The office staff is helpful and cheerful. They welcome parent volunteers and want parents to be as involved with their child's education as possible. They offer music, PE, computers, art and a library the utilizes the AR program to the max! They also have very helpful family nights and have a Science Fair in the spring- you wouldn't believe what 3rd-5th graders can do! The principals are awesome! They really care about their teachers and their students. As with any school- it takes the school and the parent to educate a child.

SIS is a great school. The teachers are very kind and loving toward every child. I have lived in other places, and Sheridan by far is the best. A lot of people criticize without knowing what their child's education could be like somewhere else.

My son attends SIS and I do have to say we have had a wonderful experience, the teachers are wonderful and the principal is friendly to all. There are a few less desirable teachers but our luck has been good and we have received the good ones. My advice to someone moving here is to be very visible in your child's education, let them know that you are proactive and you will not have as much trouble as some parents that aren't involved.

I attended the Sheridan School system from the 1st through the 12th grade and personally I think that it's one of the best. I work in Little Rock and listening to all of the people I work with and the complaints that they have about the bullies and all of the thefts that take place in the school system in LR, Sheridan has an outstanding school.

I believe that people do not give SIS a good chance. If parents would volunteer and come in to the school and really get a good look at the teachers and staff, all would realize what a wonderful school we have. A great school like this one is really a gem.

I do not believe that this school provides an environment that is the best learning environment possible. I don't believe the principal is the best that this school could have either.
