As a parent of 4 graduates of Yellville-Summit Schools, I was surprised at the reviews I saw here. We moved to Yellville when our oldest child was in 5th grade. All 4 of them were given the opportunity to become involved in sports and other extra curricular activities and received a good education. They graduated well prepared to go on to college. One has graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas and the the other three are currently enrolled and doing well at U of A and Arkansas Tech. I believe they received a solid, well-rounded education and were given opportunities to participate in activities they might not have been able to be a part of in a bigger school. I think the faculty and administration of each of the schools is truly concerned with providing the best possible education for the children of this rural area.
