My kids came into the school in the middle os the school year and I was a little nervous about it because of the area were it is located. I have to say the staff is quite helpful and my children are doing well. The principal even took the time to email me back about a concern I had answered my questions and tried to resolve my problem. I would say this school is alot better than most!

Teachers really do not provide good support to the students, I noted that there was alot of sarcasim visible in facial expressions when teachers spoke to students.

The teachers are wonderful. I wouldn't have my kids anywhere else. They give the kids the right kind of encougement to build cofidence in the skills there learning.

This school has great teachers and caring leadership. The programs available to assist the students achieve are phenomenal, with tutoring, GATE, and after-school programs. This year, 4th and 5th graders can play intramural sports at recess. My two children have increased their individual academic and social skills and seem to really enjoy school since attending Westside Park. I can not rave enough about my satisfaction level with this school, the staff, and the availability of supplemental programs when appropriate.

In viewing the student teacher ratio I have seen that it is about 25-30/1. The principal at this school really cares and is involved with the children on a one on one basis. The teachers are highly qualified and are striving to teach our little ones.
