My daughter is 7 and my son is 4 and they have been attending Fair Oaks Academy for a couple of years now. My family couldn't be happier with the school! Both kids have been able to advance at their own pace and are way beyond their "grade or age level". My just turned 4 year old reads at 1st grade level and my 7 year old is doing 4th grade math! Both are Kumon honor roll which the school offers as part of their curriculum. Not only does the school excel in academics, they offer lots of activities like music, art, dance and singing lessons plus lots of fun field trips and activities. It's an amazing value! The smaller classrooms allow for a lot of individual attention and there's also very consistent rules and expectations from all faculty. I call it the best kept secret in town! Sunday morning my son had a fit when I told him it wasn't a school day, what else could a parent ask for?

Fair Oaks Academy is the best kept secret in education! My daughter & son have attended for 3 years & are both two years ahead in reading & math. The kids go at their own pace and the small class sizes mean a lot of individualized attention. Fair Oaks also offers field trips, band, singing, art, dance & PE from 8:30-5:30 at no extra charge - try getting that anywhere else. Summer school not only has all the above but also swimming - my son was swimming at age 3! If you want a great place for your kid to learn & develop, Fair Oaks Academy is worth a look.

My wife and I decided to send our son, who will be entering Kindergarten, to Fair Oaks because of the superlative work it does with its students. Education is of paramount importance to us (we both attended top 15 universities and have post graduate degrees). While other schools we considered (e.g., Poly, Mayfield, High Point, etc.) may have better facilities, Fair Oaks is unparalleled in what it enables its students to achieve. We spoke with many students in the K class and were stunned by their intellect and maturity. All the students read at 1-2 levels above their current grade. They are already learning fractions and doing multi-number arithmetic word problems. The school allows students to advance at their own rate, so bright kids can learn rapidly (we learned afterwards that Fair Oaks alums not surprisingly matriculate to schools like MIT). I was also pleased with the school s congenial atmosphere. Students spontaneously approached my son and invited him to play. The teacher and administrator made my son, who is reserved, feel comfortable and welcome. If you have a precocious child, you should consider Fair Oaks. You ll be amazed by what your child can become.

This is the best school I have found. The teachers work with your child one on one and really help them to expand and be themselves. My son has been going to Fair Oaks since preschool and he is doing so well! He has been reading since before he turned three. He loves the art, music, out doors, dancing, sports etc. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!

My son s entire schooling has been at Fair Oaks Academy. He has now been accepted at Harvard-Westlake High School. He is very much his own person, and is very independent as a student, able to learn anything he sets his mind to.
