Twila Reid Elementary School

I love Twila Reid School, both my girls have been going there since pre-school. The teachers are #1.

i rate this school a 5 star. i went here when i was young from kindergarden till 6th grade and the same principle is still there. dr pipes is a great man. my parents went here when they were young and now my daughter is starting kindergarden here. that should tell you something.....

My 3 little girls go to this school...The experience has been amazing since the first day my oldest daughter went into Kindergarden. All the staff is wonderful!! The principal is amazing...The office staff is wonderful...and all the teachers are the best. As a single parent having a hard time in life these days I couldn't have asked for a better school for my children to attend. They are a truly amazing bunch of people!!!! They care about the children and their education!

Twila Reid is an excellent school. My son is following in the footsteps of his older sister who is graduating this year. Dr. Pipes is a wonderful man who cares for the kids he provides for. The only down side to Twila Reid is the parking situation. The school was not built for the size it has grown to be.

Twila Reid is a wonderful school. The principal is a person of great character. He is very fair and considerate toward the students. The teachers work hard to help the students in all academic areas.

There are a lot of great teachers at Twila Reid. They focus not only on traditional academics, but on art as well. Reading is a key focus at Twila Reid - which I am very happy about. There are also lots of fun student involved activities, such as: annual parade & observance of Dr. Seuss' birthday, talent show for the upper grades, annual halloween costume parade, and lots of great field trips. The Principal, Dr. Pipes, is a little militant, and a bit of a power tripper but he is effective at keeping control of the children and what goes on at the school.

My child has only been at Twila Reid for a short time but, in that time this school has impressed me. The principal is very involved in the day to day activities and the school is extremely big on safety. I have not had ample opportunity to give a fair assessment to the teachers (as a whole) but my sons teacher is very impressive.
