My daughter came from a Catholic junior high school not really caring much about her grades . In less than 2 weeks at this school, I noticed a difference in my daughter who was blossoming into a confident young lady. She in now a sophomore with a very high GPA. It is astounding what this school has accomplished for her in a year and a half. The other girls in this school are also high achievers. Connelly fosters high sense of belonging, accountability and preparation for college academics. Kudos to the staff and administration.

My daughter started Connelly this year and truly loves it! Her fellow students are wonderful and have made her transition into high school memorable! She has been challenged intellectually and spiritually. I have seen her grow into a more confident, caring and independent young lady! It is nice to see a school where the girls are smart, classy and truly impressive! Thank you Connelly!!!

As an alumna, I feel I had the best experience one could hope for from attending an all girl Catholic school. The instructors at Connelly were caring and truly wanted students to succeed and pushed us to do so. The rigorous academic curriculum definitely prepared me for college. I still maintain close friendships with girls from my class. I continue to live my life in the spirit of Cornelia Connelly, inspired to do my best in everything, always. With adversity, with faith, life continues. I feel fortunate to have attended such a wonderful school. I graduated from Connelly in the 80s. If we lived closer, my daughter would be there!

connelly is an amazing school, i have never felt more confident in myself and my abilities than i have at connelly. our teachers are so fantastic, they make learning fun and have taught me to study hard. connelly is a great fit for girls who are looking to prepare for college, learn a lot, and get away from the petty drama of junior high and that of a lot of the other private schools in the area. At connelly, girls dont bully eachother and there is no popularity contests among the students. we all come to have fun, learn, and make life long friends of quality.

Our oldest daughter attended CHS, Currently, we have another daughter there. I have to admit that the quality of education has deteriorated significantly. In the past few years, there have been several poor teachers who should have never been hired. There are some long tenured ones who put forth effort to teach. Take a good look at the teacher's and be sure to ask about teacher turnover.

I attended Connelly H.S. at great sacrifice by my parents who were not well off by any stretch of the imagination. I was prepared not only academically, but also as a young woman who cares greatly about her faith and the community. Connelly was the greatest gift my parents could have ever given me. It made me realize my potential as an actress, a dancer, an intellectual and a person with many gifts to give others. The philosophy of Connelly has driven much of my thinking in my professional life(teaching) and my personal life. No other experience has come close to the wonderful four years I spent at Connelly. I truly wish all girls could have the opportunity to be educated as artfully as I.

Few parents realized the value of sending their kids to a private school. Obviously, money is the biggest factor. My husband and I decided to send our only child to a private school because we believe that she is our priority in life. It was tough because we had to set aside leisure in life such vacation, trips, and luxuries to provide our kid the best education. And we are not wrong! Now a sophomore at Connelly, she has showed a tremendous change not just in attitude but her thinking as well. Although, she started her elementary years in a private school as well (St. Justin Martyr School) that gave her a great foundation. Connelly strengthened her character, moral values and decision-making. She was shy and quiet in her early years, Connelly taught her confidence and brought out the best in her-academic, spiritual & life.

I like the way they encourage each young lady to develop confidence and to strive to be the best

If you want your daughter to blossom into a confident, intelligent young woman..then Connelly is the school! There are many choices for private high schools in Orange County, but few-if any- rival Connelly's small & intimate class size, whole person development, academic preparation, and faculty that is accessible. Add CHS to your short list of schools to visit. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

My second daughter to go to Connelly is finishing her junior year. Connelly has given our daughters and their friends a strong sense of self and a confidence that I have not seen, among our friends whose daughters go to public schools or private co-ed schools, the strength of self confidence as young women that Connelly is able to nurture. The girls that have gone to Connelly are also much more academically prepared for college. They make a fairly smooth transition. We are proud to be past, present and future Connelly parents.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
