I'm sorry the parent posting in Dec.2010 had such a bad experience but this has not been our case at all. I have many friends in public education and every year I compare the Vineyard curriculum with the public schools and every year Vineyard meets or exceeds the grade level work designated by the State of California. My child is getting a great education - scholarly, spiritually and emotionally. If you are looking to raise a well-rounded, well-developed child, I would highly recommend this school.

I have been a parent of a child at Vineyard since 1995 with all four of my children attending since Preschool or Kindergarten. My three oldest have graduated 8th grade and moved on, and my youngest will follow in a few years. I could not disagree more with the negative reviews posted last December. Vineyard's administrators, teachers and staff are amazing, caring, well trained professionals, who put the children first. They are not all about money. In fact, with the economic down turn of the last few years, they have offered tuition discounts to many families in need. Most of all, Vineyard teaches the children how to be loving, outward focused, respectful members of God's Kingdom, focusing on giving much more than receiving. I love this school and know about 100 other Moms who feel the same!

ACADEMICALLY POOR ! KIDS BULLY AROUND ! TEACHER TIRED ! This is how I can describe this school . One of the big mistake I made is put my kid in this school . Luckly , one of the best decision I did is pull my kid out from this school after we found the real face of this school. from a parent

NO ! NOT THIS SCHOOL AT ALL !!! This school is completely MONEY first , not children first . If you can afford to donate lots of money , then your kids will be treated specially and became teacher's favor kids. My daughter has been verbally and physically bullied by other girls in the class , but teacher has never really tried to solve the problem. My daughter came home everyday with tear and I reported it to teacher and never got any positive response . I guess my daughter just isn't one of teacher's pet. Academically, this school is way behind any of private or public school because teachers are very tired of teaching everyday. There are many Christian school out there , do not choose this one because you will pay the money for nothing at all ! after 4 months in this school . Me and my friend will pull our kids out from this school and end this mistake. We feel like we want to run away from this school as far as we can . They do not make a good example how Juses want us to treat others . With Lord in our heart , we do not recommend this school to any of Christian. From an unhappy mother. I love this school. You will not be disappointed. The preschool is fabulous and the elementary school is outstanding. The teachers have such a care and concern for each student.

My children started attending this school when they were 2/3 years old. This is a fabulous school and I could not be happier. Academically it is a great school because they do not teach for the test, they are teaching the children knowledge and skills for life, this is huge and most schools do not teach this way from my experience in the academic world (my background) Also, they are extremely nurturing, supportive and encouraging in the children. The entire staff is fabulous. Additionally, the class size is amazing for students personal growth. the largest class size I have seen was 20 students. they just added a toddler program so that is a huge bonus for my baby that will attend.

This is a wonderful school. They have an amazing preschool staff/program and the kindergarten teachers are amazing. I have 3 little girls that attend and it has been a blessing since day one!

My daughter attends preschool at Vineyard Christian and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She has a wonderful teacher and the Preschool Director is caring and very involved in the children's day to day activities. There is a warm and caring atmosphere at this school, and somehow they manage to keep the classrooms remarkably clean and organized. I'm not sure that I can properly review academics, since my daughter is in preschool- but I am confident that she is developing a love of learning (and of school) that she will carry with her for the rest of her life.

I love the family atmosphere and feel very comfortable about my childs safety and well being at this school. However I do not feel that acedemically my child is offered the highest standard that a school can provide. I feel that I am paying for the comfort of a Christian private school and not for the quality education that I feel the school lacks.

Our 06-07 school year at Vineyard was disappointing. The teacher, while strong in teaching reading and math, did not do much to academically challenge or engage our child. Our child is not at level in all of California State standards due to inadequate teaching of the core cirriculum. The class atmosphere also left a lot to be desired. We also disagreed with some of the Bible lessons. We liked the school as a whole (great music, art, drama, computer and after-school programs), but's it true - one bad apple can ruin the barrell. We no longer feel we can trust Vineyard to provide a proper education.
