Very caring environment with great teachers! Small class sizes, but total enrollment is nearing 100 now. Sports teams have been added. Also choir. Gifted or struggling students are supported so that everyone progresses and no one is bored. Academic instruction very good! Kindness and respect are stressed. Great environment. Tuition based on income... Do not hesitate to try Sacred Heart!!

We recently transferred our pre-schooler to Sacred Heart and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are very caring and the whole school is inclusive. It was important to us as parents to have our child be in an environment that supported our values of kindness, compassion, and respect for others. We highly recommend this school. If you live in Redding as we do, don't let the distance discourage you. We were surprised to find it takes us less than 15 minutes to get there. Sacred Heart is a terrific school!

This may be a little school but it is awesome! I like the small school atmosphere-everyone knows everyone and we all care about each other. It is like a family. The atmosphere allows kids to just focus on learning, free from worry about being safe or accepted. It does provide a Catholic Christian foundation and encourages kids to be spiritual. We have been the happy recipients of tuition assistance and are so glad we chose Sacred Heart School for our Kindergartener. We are planning on enrolling our 3 year old in the Preschool too.

We think the school is a bit to small for our liking.

A rural setting, secure with a competent staff. Provides your child with a good introduction to Catholiscism. Teacher/student ratio is good. I would recommend this school.

Sacred Heart School located in Anderson, CA is truly one of the best schools in Shasta County. Our children learn academically, and spiritualy, as well as socially with the very best caring staff around. Through tuition assistance, no one is turned away due to lack of income. Our parental involvement is incredible, the teachers knowledgeable, the atmosphere is peaceful and it is a place where I am proud to have my child attend this school! Smaller classrooms allow more individualized attention and parents are welcome anytime to volunteer. Sacred Heart School is the 'heart' of our parish. Take a tour of the school and see for yourself how easy the right choice will be for your precious children.
