I feel that our principal does a awesome job, the school overall is a great school our school, i do not feel that the board handled the budget cuts very well, I feel that they should not be making cuts to AG classes/FFA/shop classes/ these are classes that the kids enjoy and that they need in everyday life.

Pierce High School has been education my children since 1997. Although the level of education is good for most classes, the amount of classes offered especially in the field of language is lacking. To only offer one foreign language is not fair to students who do not want to take Spanish. I have been told by several students (including mine) that if more than one language was offered they would take it. I have also been told that coming this next year (2005-2006) that block scheduling will not be available. Why? This was a fantastic way of keeping students on track. For mine especially. Her grades went up and she was more focused. Please consider keeping the block scheduling and not going back to 7 period classes. Consider also offering a more diverse choice of classes. Kudo's on your teachers though for the outstanding job they have doen so far.

education is extremely behind. english learners have priority. not the best for special education. many students are passed along as long as they show up.
