Paulding has an excellent transition program for elementary students going to middle school. There are a variety of clubs, activities, and sports to help students 'connect' with the school. The staff is composed of two groups of teachers at each grade level, which helps the staff to know and relate better to each student.

This school is too over-protective. The kids aren't even aloud to walk down Crown Hill after school. I then had to wait 15min in a traffic jam to pick up my child on the other side of the school. They also canceled the 7th grade dance because the couldn't find a corporation to sponsor them. OH- but of course the 8th graders still get their promotion dance. I love the Princapals and teachers at this school. They are wonderful and always willing to help our children in their time of need. One more thing..... WAY TO MUCH HOMEWORK. My child won first in Orlando Flordia for the performing arts festival and came home to a sky-high pile of homework. For such an educational field trip- and representing this school, she had to spend four days on the make-up homework. Including staying up until 11:30. My child still finds time for family.
