I have been very pleased with the school over all. The teachers and staff are always a joy to work with and feel very pleased with our choice to send our son to this school.

I am so happy we made the decision to leave our daughter in Elliott....its been great. I think we have a new PTA President too who is very friendly, so hopefully more parents will feel comfortable joining it.

As a much older brother in Cerritos High School, I believed William Elliott Elementary was very beneficial to my sister. At first when my family moved in to Cerritos right in front of Elliott, my parents thought that the school was going to be a major disappointment not able to go to some other prestigious elementary such as Leo or Cerritos Elementary. However, as my sister got in the school, she became active in school, my parents, despise their little time to be able to help out, got involved in the school's PTSA. My sister, currently one of the smartest kids in the 4th grade class, she is in GATES and this was not the work of me, my parents, nor a divine miracle, it was the inspiration this school gives out and helped out with kids like my sister everyday to do the best and the teachers here are amazing.

This school has so much potential to be a National Blue Ribbon School and a California Distinguished School. Leadership at this school needs to be more diligent about encouraging parents to participate on a daily basis and not leave things only to the very small PTA. I don't think parents know that they are needed at this school. The principal should let them know and set the example of enthusiasm for involvement.
