they don't even deserve a one in my opinion its the worst school in the area. people are better off going to buhac at least there the staff know how to deal with problems(or from what i've heard) i would reccommend any school over atwater high

Great school with great teachers.

I love this school! The teachers know what they are doing (Most of them at least) :) and I believe that the students should appreciate what teachers do for them! I plan to be a teacher here after I go to college. I don't plan to leave this school for a very long time!

Academics and Athletics are emphisized with eaqual enthusiasm at this school. AHS is middle of the road as far as High Schools go. It's not a bad school but it doesn't offer many opportunities for real life outside of Atwater Ca. The students are diverse but the curriculm is not. The music department is great. They stick to an older genre but that is the climate of the school. Sports are encouraged for all. The parental involment is great, although it can be clickish.

Being a fairly new teacher here at Atwater, I have had the opportunity to observe some really great instructors (in the classroom as well as out). There are some really quality individuals here that are not only concerned with subject matter and the implemenation of, but with the well being of their students. This group emphasizes pride, work ethic, team play as well as morals and values. I would not have any reservations in sending my own children here.

This is an awesome school! The faculty is awesome, the sports are competitive, and the curriculum is upto standards. This is a proactive school with staff and teachers that truly care about student success. The administration is active in all aspects of the school and activities and they are truly supportive. Parent involvement is encouraged and needed!

The leadership has completely ruined the school. There is no school spirit left. The atmosphere is very depressing.
