My child has attended this school for three years now & I must say the staff truly cares about their kids. Chavez makes a point to have events that focus on community strength, goal completion, and morale building of the youth attending there. The staff really helped to support my child's well-being during a very unstable and difficult time -- I love this school.

I have had three children attend Cesar Have in the past. All my children received a fine education especially, in the Science and Math field. The only complaint I have is too bad it's not a middle school. Once they enter Jr. High the learning is stalled. It's my opinion.

I think this is a decent school, but the school district is not good at all! The district has mandatory weekly testing for all schools, this is really aggravating to me, let the teachers teach!

My child has attended Chavez School for the past 2 years. I have been very satisfied with the campus as well as all of the staff. Thet have a staff of teachers that genuinley care about the students. Their Special Ed classes are spectacular. They have taught my child things i never though possible. I only wish I lived closer so that both of my children could attend.

A great place that is building the leaders of our community. This school today represents hopefully what the rest of California and the US will look like in the near future. Chavez Magnet is 2002 California Distingushed School. See our future website at http://www.chavezmagnetschool.org
