My daughter goes to the SDL pre-school. Miss Heather and Miss Cheryl are amazing teachers. My daughter loves going to school and is excited to tell me about her day when I get home from work. I can not say enough praise for these two women. Mindy would not be the girl she is today without all of the staff in the preschool. I wish they had a learning hadicapped kindergaten so my daughter could stay. Maybe the school will read this and build one for Mindy. Of all of the parents checking up on this preschool you will not find a better match than here, and I've looked too. Congrats on another great year and we will miss you!
My son is in the second grade, he has been in Lamont schools since he was in pre k and he had nothing but troubles from them, he is now at Vineland and he loves it! They have the best staff and the best principle. My sons teacher, Mrs. Moyes is the best! She is so understanding and she is not a pushy teacher, like his past teachers in the Lamont district. I am happy to say that my son gets up in the morning and cant wait to get to school, versus the 'old' him that was scared to go to school and was in counseling just to be able to get up and attend class.Im happy I tried Vineland and this is where my son will stay. Thanks to all the staff at Vineland my son can focus on what school is for, to,Learning!
My children were in this school district for 5 years. My son did very well, but there is not a program for gifted children. So if you have a child who is above grade level you are out of luck. The teachers that my children had were awesome. They really did try to meet the needs of our children, but they are trying to get everyone else on grade level. So it leaves the children above level out.
