I give thanks to the old secretary that used to work there. She was sweet. Everyone else is nice at first but then end up being really rude once you're no longer shiny and new to them. They will eventually roll their eyes at you, sigh in front of your face when you ask for help, or even ignore you.

The teachers do not have degrees. They go to Florida and get a temporary substitute teaching permit, and go back every 6 months to renew it. They're volunteer mom's with no idea on how to teach a proper school curriculum. They did not go to school themselves to learn how to handle children with different needs to help them grow.

Research graduates from the school. No one is successful after graduating there. They marry young, have kids, and work remedial jobs. No one goes to college.

The students who had parents in the church, got away with murder. They would pick on other kids so bad, and would then cry like a baby when they got picked on by someone who didn't have a parent in the church. Do yourself and your child a favor. Do not send them here if your child suffers from bullying or insecurities.

The kids who had parents as active members of the church, were almost mob like in nature. They picked on outsiders and did some horrible stuff to them. I was a victim a few times, but felt disgusted seeing it happen to other students who were picked on.

Christian school that has small class sizes and the most affordable tuition of all private Christian schools in Bakersfield. The children learn a lot at this school. Due to small class sizes, the teachers have time to get to know students well and give individualized attention. Teachers use Abeka program for K-8. Abeka uses phonics to teach kids as early as pre-k and kindergarden. My child is in kindergarden & already knows how to read sentences! She has also learned to write in cursive in kindergarden. Uniforms are simple and inexpensive and can be purchased at any store where available - red, blue, or white polo shirts. Pants for boys, skirts for girls. Of all the private Christian schools in Bakersfield, this one is the best!
