This school is if not the best school in town is surely one of them. Our athletics program is very good and most of our athletes are also some of the smartest students on campus. The education I am receiving is priceless. The teachers really do go the extra mile in making sure you really understand the subject matter and take the time to learn how each student learns and will adjust for each student. I think that it is worth every penny that my parents spend for me to go to this school.

This is our first year at BCHS and words cannot express how much I love this school. The teachers and staff are so caring, helpful and really care about their students and families. I wish that I could have had this kind of support when I went to high school.

Every teacher, administrator, coach, volunteer, etc. is 100% committed to the education of our kids. I am so proud to be a part of the BCHS family!

Both of children graduated from BCHS and as parents, we were very happy with the education they received. Yes, there are some kids there who may not totally embrace Christian values (perhaps their parents made attend, despite wanting to go to a public high school), but the majority of kids there come from God-fearing, Bible-believing families. It's also expensive (more than Garces) but there are programs and scholarships available to those who need them. The SAT scores from BCHS are said to be the highest of any high school in Kern County, and 99% of graduates go on to college. The teachers really care for the spiritual well-being of the students and these students go on to college very well-prepared.

BCHS is a great school! As a result of its smallness there is a better teacher/student fellowship. Teachers are able to give kids more attention and tend to their needs more efficiently than at a bigger school. The staff is excellent! They care! Kids are able to learn and have fun at the same time. They provide a safe and fun environment for the kids. BCHS offers fun extracurricular activities for the kids and there is an excellent booster club for the parents to get involved in. I give Bakersfield Christian High School 5 stars.
