Lone Tree Elementary School

My son attends the Montassori Charter school held at Lone Tree and he love school. The teachers are great and well educated. We have parent volunteers everyday in class as well as a low ratio of teacher/student. I am sad to say that the lack of art, sports and other extracurricular activities worries me but I know that I can find these activities in town.

Two of my children have attended Lone Tree. My youngest is currently enrolled in the third grade. I am very satisfied with the education they have received. I feel the staff is eager to ensure that the children are getting the best education they can get. From personal experience, I can say that they really go the extra mile to help those that need extra help and to challenge those that are excelling. Both of my children have had excellent teachers. What issues I have had with the school have been dealt with in a swift and positive manner. I think this school probably has more parent involvement than your average public school because of the Air Force Base affiliation. I would definitely be willing to recommend this school to anyone.

The school's Art Docent Art Appreciation Program has provided my children an opportunity to learn about famous artists and create art in the artist's style. A wonderful program!

This is a great school with wonderful teachers. The children love coming here each day. The teachers have aides to help them, and parents regularly volunteer.
