This school sadly is going down the drain quickly. They have had 6 principals in the last 2 years. Many of the teachers are great! Sadly they are overburdened due to poor leadership and "budget cuts". The district office is playing money games at the students expense. It is sad because the school has so much potential, but the school board decided to keep the current naive superintendent who is way in over her head and destroying teacher morale.
for a small school, has a lot of afterschool activities, music, art; GATE students are not emphasized; teachers are very good, caring; EL students get a lot of emphasis; lots of local community involvement both financially and volunteer-wise.
