Not only does my son LOVE his new school but so do we, his parents. We have been so pleased with the caring, considerate and exceptional teachers and staff that we have encountered. A very well rounded school and a place we are happy to give our support to. We could not have made a better choice!

Boulder Creek Elementary is an exceptional school and deserves any help it can get financially. It's in a small mountain community and the teachers are exceptional -- most put in a 70 hour work week. I know of no other school that deserves and needs the support more than Boulder Creek Elementary, Boulder Creek, CA.

BCE is a great school. I have nothing but great things to say about the principal, teachers and staff. The reading specialists are exceptional. How many elementary schools have science, PE and music specialists? My kids ride the bus so I don't worry about the parking.

Excellent elementary school. Recent changes include moving the 6th grade to the middle school as well as a brand new classroom building (replaced portables). There is certainly no overcrowding in this school and the facilities are very good. The most recent academic scores rank BCE as one of the best elementary schools in the county and the best in the district. 2007 math competition showed BCE's 5th graders getting first place over mostly 6th graders from other schools in the county. Parking is not great, but I have no problem dropping off and picking up my two kids. So far, and most importantly, I have had nothing but great teachers for my children. Older unfavorable reviews reflect disgruntled parents who were upset over the closure of the other elementary school in Boulder Creek (Redwood). That battle is over and we have moved on.

My child is new to the school and I just found out the classroom is mixed with 5th and 6th graders. Also, major complaints about the parking is also a question of doubt in my mind.

Both of my children, 8 years apart, went all the way through school here. The programs were excellent - sports was a bonus, and the teaching was responsive to a diverse group of students. There were outstanding opportunities at both ends of the spectrum - gifted and challenged. I felt that teachers and administrators worked closely with the parent community to identify and address student needs. A quality program.
