There is a deficient number of textbooks for each class. The students do not have adequate materials. There is no library for UCMS. The library on campus is unkempt, messy, devoid of a librarian and relevant books, and is not a space where students can study or use materials for reference. Many classrooms look overcrowded, and students have less time for one-on-one help in class. There is little accountability or consequence for students actions once they are sent to the office.
The dual immersion program at this school is incredible. I also value the voice and choice students are given. UCMS is innovative and its curriculum is not textbook driven. UCMS is an outstanding school.
My son started here today. He had a great day and we know it will be a great year with the wonderful staff. Last weeks orientation and PTSA BBQ was wonderful. We are lucky to be here.
I have found the teachers to be completely supportive looking at individual needs and having a great curricullum. We love the school!
Bad teachers, activities, schedule organization, classes/courses, 1 sport choice bad reputation for grades, bad discipline AUGGHH!
