Excellent school with a fabulously supportive and welcoming community for the entire family. Challenging academic environment teaches more than just knowledge of facts and figures. Students develop critical thinking and communication skills to know not only the right answers but to be prepared to ask the right questions. Combined with stellar faith formation and virtuous character development, Canyon Heights Academy will prepare your children to be a leader at any high school and beyond.

The Pros: Catholic formation, great location, great teachers, teachers really care, separated by Gender starting in Kinder, No mandatory volunteer hours. The Cons: teacher supervision and parent's communication could be better. Kids gang up and may be difficult for a newcomer. Library needs attention. Pricey. Bottom line: This is a great pre-school, with great resources for parents, but having kids separated by gender may not be your best match. Make sure you take a look at the kids that your child will join.

This is a great school. Small class size, accelerated academics, (Singapore math, Philosophy, Junior Great Books) Caring and dedicated teachers, strong character formation with a monthly Virtue Campaign for students including instruction for parents. Catholic formation, community service, wonderful and welcoming parent community. No mandatory fundraising or volunteer hours, open access to teachers and administration. It is also less expensive than many of the other private schools. It is only a 10 year old school and gets better every year.
