Too small. No local kids. Nothing fun. Each year we get all new teachers, cept one.

Great teachers. Much attention to students. Also provide AP courses and individualized college counseling. Not a top-notch school but a boutique one.

I am amazed more parents are unaware of this "hidden gem" tucked away in Campbell. At what othe private high-school anywhere on the Peninsula can you find Ivy-League educated teachers (most with Masters Degrees) teaching AP classes to groups that average 8-10 students? My wife and I sought high and low for a school that would accommodate our daughter's need for "more! faster!" and we lucked out. Additionally, we really enjoy the diverse body of international and local students. It's great to see so many kids from all over the globe speaking other languages, learning and laughing together.

My son attends Valley International Academy and the most obvious difference between this high school and his previous school is how dedicated the teachers are. They cater to each student's individual learning style. The capable and gifted students who have not been successful in traditional educational settings are challenged and the result is a motivated, peak-performing student.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
