Campo Elementary School

This School is great!! I see reviews saying there is behavior problems, I see those problems as parents not doing there job. Students are there to learn. Teachers are not there babysit. If parent would teach there own children proper behaivor, then disapline would not be a problem.

We just moved here and the teachers and staff are great, but the principal is unapproachable..does not acknowledge parents and kids when they come in school. Is there anyone else have similar experience?..PTA not so great compared to the other schools.

I was surprised to read the few negative reviews by parents that seem to not understand what a great school Campo Elementary has become. The teachers principal and entire staff and students are very supportive of each other. This is a great school in every aspect and I recommend it highly. Go Campo Cougars!

I can only hope and pray that this year will be better than last. The principal at this school seems to be more focused on the way things 'appear' than the real problems.The bullying that goes on at this school is unbelievable and the principal tries everything to just simply avoid these issues. If my child did not have such a great teacher, I would be home schooling. This would be a great school if there was a better principal.

This school's principal is not doing her job! She is allowing a few children to bully and intimidate children and even teachers!

Great school. Not sure what parents are referring to as far as the discipline policy goes. It's pretty much standard when compared with my friends kids schools in San Diego.

My children love this school. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. I am very happy we moved to Campo and my that my kids have had the opportunity to attend Campo Elementary the past two years.

Campo Elementary is a school that has heart. My child is in Kindergarten and his teacher is wonderful. She has all the characteristics of what a teacher should have. She is kind, loving, caring, energetic, fun and she knows how to incorporate fun into learning. The children love her class and so do I. I am proud of the schools recent API gain of 84 points and with all the support from staff, parents and the community, I am positive this school is headed for great things. Thank You Campo Elementary for giving my child a positive school experience.
