I am a substitute teacher with Long Beach Unified and I have to say that CAMS is the best school I have had the pleasure of working at. There are no fences, perfect attendance, and the students have a sincere willingness to learn. The work that they are required to complete will ensure their success at whatever they choose to do after high school. The teachers there are thoroughly committed to providing every student with a high quality education. I am hoping that I may gain a position as a teacher at this school and that my son will attend high school at CAMS.
My son is going to be a senior this fall. Rigid course of study for students and prepares them for College. PTL for giving my son the opportunity to go to this school.
CAMS is a unique emphasis on the new and real world of technological advances of this new age. It is a school only for the dedicated teen eager to establish a dynamic footprint on this fast pace planet. Weak heartedand lazy need not apply
This school is the best school ever. CAMS has high expectations and it is a real high school. I am a freshmen and we are allowed to be teenagers reply to a post on March 16, 2010!
I go to CAMS and I hate it. Teenagers aren't allowed to be teenagers. It is not a real high school, there are no drugs ( well maybe a little bit), no fights, no nothing. The teacher walks out of the class and everyone stays exactly the same. I hate it because everyone is so incredibly GOOD. We are teenagers and we should be allowed to have fun, but CAMS is so boring, and there are a lot of very weird people.
CAMS is an amazing school. My son is a sophomore and loves his school. It's a wonderful place where students are exposed to great engineering and science learning experiences, cutting edge equipment and brilliant and engaged teachers. Can't say enough about CAMS.
This school is a great opportunity to get ahead start torward your future goals!
Hi, I'm a current junior of CAMS. Go class of 2010 Ninjas! Anyways, I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to be something regardless in the field of math and science, our specality. CAMS is rather difficult, nights are long, homework is tedious, but CAMS students (cohortians) are very friendly. Personally, I still don't know what I want to pursue but CAMS has opened my mind to think about my future now instead of the later stages of my life which would probably be too late. CAMS is the happiest school on earth. Everytime I go to school, I feel like I'm going to an educational Disneyland. CAMS is not only for math nerds and Einstein scientists, it's for students that want to be ahead of others...
My son is a freshman at CAMS. I really praise the Lord for allowing him to go to this school. All his life my son went to a christian school and he had to make a lot of adjustments once he entered his freshman year at CAMS. CAMS is a great school. It prepares students for college. My husband and I couldn't have chosen a better school for our son.
My son just graduated and he could not had a better education anywhere, not even a high priced private school. Now he is fully prepared for the University. Thank you Cams!
