Great enviroment for children to learn. Focuses on values and morals where alot of public schools have lost that.

Great school, this school is definitely a 'family' that we have become part of. Excellent academics, teaching straight from the bible. Highly recommended

Academically, I think RCS K-6 is a sound school, just slightly above public schools in the area. Biblical teachings and character building are excellent. And of the 2 elementaries campuses, I recommend Crossroads over Redwood. Grades 7-12, however, is lacking in all areas. Curriculum tends to be narrow-minded and outdated. Extracurricular activities are sparse. Many obscure rules. Hypocrisy runs rampant. Tuition is much too high considering these factors.

Our grandchildren attend Redwood Elementary and Junior High and have been going to Redwood since Kindergarten. Our grandchildren have had some transitioning and challenges in their lives in the last year and the teachers and staff at Redwood has been very supportive and caring. Because of the support and concern at Redwood our grandchildren have actually maintained and in some cases bettered their grades. I believe they were both on the honor roll this year. The academics are outstanding and the faculty and staff very sincere. Each teacher at Redwood truly reflects God's love to their students on campus. I would highly recommend this school to any parent considering a move to the Castro Valley/San Leandro area.
