Small class sizes, and great community support.
best school ever because they have so many activies the childern never get bored like beach day, earth day, peace day, beach clean up, dances, twin day, pizza party, and crazy hair day much more for just middle school the other grsdes get lots of other things too. the best thing most childern like is the pool they swim in summer for P.E.
My daughter is in 2nd grade and has a wonderful teacher. Last year her teacher was equally excellent. In addition to academics, the school also has a wonderful community-sponsored arts program that includes art education by a professional art instructor; a music program that includes band, choir, cello, violin, and viola. The parental involvement, let alone the overall community involvement, in this school is excellent.
I dont likr the science teacher
Cayucos Elementary School is an outstanding place for children to grow, learn and develop! I have three children who all excelled in acedemics, music, art and athletics while at Cayucos School. Thier success in grades K-8 was largely due to the outstanding staff. The teachers are highly qualified, dedicated and caring individuals who truely go the extra mile for each student. The Principal is one of the most honorable men I've ever encountered...in any profession. He truely works hard to see that his school is a clean, healthy, positive and safe place for the children and teachers alike. The parent involvement and support was wonderful while my children were there but has dropped off somewhat in the last few years. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to place our children in one of the only public 'private' schools left in America.
