i am going to this schoo at this time. im gonna be a junior next year and so far i love this school. this school is the best school i have every gone to in my life.

Superb! Wow, my freshman who was very nervous to start school, got the hang of it very quick. When he first recieved his schedule, there were things that needed to be changed and the staff was quick to accomodate him. Great Leadership, the Principal is awsome! My sophmore loved this school!

As a new school, CV presents an amazing opportunity for students to set precedents and establish traditions. As a proud member of the class of 2009, I have seen the development of an academically strong and growing campus. All my teachers were superb, and the administration was accessible and helpful. The sense of openness at CV is what makes this school great. This gives students the opportunity to actually start traditions and organizations which will define CV. Great school. Best school in Ceres by far.

I really enjoy attending Central Valley! Its a really good school, academically and it really satisfies my personal informational needs.. I really like the teachers, it feels like theres a connection between them. At Central Valley High School, were spirited and enjoy attending school! For any future high school students, I really recommend you to join Central Valley High School, Green and Maroon! Go Hawks!! Some Events: -Battle of the Sexes -Senior Sunrise/Senior Sunset -Grad Week -Ralleys -Club Rush week -Award nights

About the tests


In 2012-2013 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
