i didn't feel a great connection to this school. sadly, i agree with december 1, 2003 posting. the school seems prepared for smooth sailing, but not so prepared or available for rocky seas. very sad and disappointing

I really like this school and my daughter loves it. The teachers are very helpful and they make it easy to keep in contact with them.

This school caters to high achievers. They let teachers set individual policies regarding assignments, amount of homework with little to no breathing room resulting in lots of homework, an F grade for partial or late assignments, a very high-stress environment for kids. More like 30-35 kids per class, not 29 as indicated. Students use a nice planner provided by the school, but when asking for feedback from a teacher, they rely on the child to present the planner for comments to parent. There is no parent-teacher interface in place. Teachers do not communicate well with parents when kids are doing poorly, they seem to rely on a progress report that it sent too late to do anything productive before the end of a quarter.
