I love this school! My children have wonderful and caring teachers who inspire them to learn. The kids at this school are friendly and Marigold has a feeling of community. The class sizes have increased but my children still love this school and are excelling scholastically and emotionally.
The school may have been good under prior leadership, but now, how your child's year will go depends on the teacher they will have. Some of the teachers are dedicated and warm toward the children. Others fail to perform even the basic functions of their job and the continual use of the internet for personal purposes is not appropriate in an academic setting. Our kids deserve teachers who will focus on instructing them not on surfing the internet.
This is the greatest school! There is such a close-knit environment, the kids all know each other and everyone seems so happy. There is more parent involvement than I have seen at any other school we've attended. I work in both of my kids' classrooms and help out with PTA. I feel so welcome at the school and my kids are so successful. We have a new principal this year and he is so enthusiastic and positive! I'm so glad we moved into the Marigold neighborhood.
This school is so much better than the other two schools my child went to. The teachers communicate to parents. There is an abundance of parent involvement. The kids are a great example of what the extra effort can do.
An excellent educational opportunity. Kids are socially well-adjusted and very friendly to each other. A superior school experience.
