Howard Cattle was a great school. But with the budget cuts they lost a bunch of great teachers. I had to pull my son out of the school due to a 5th grade teacher there was bullying my son. The principal did nothing at all about it. It makes me sad because all of my other children went there from kindergarden till 6th. My son now is in a new school and is very happy!
Our oldest child just finished his 6th grade year at Cattle. He attended Cattle since 1st grade. We have three younger children we all attend the school. We have had nothing but positive experiences through the years! The teaching staff is AWESOME!
Great school! Great Teachers and Great Kids!! We love it!
I love my child's school! Everyone at Cattle is doing an awesome job...keep up the great work!
I think Howard Cattle is an excellent school for our children.
I am so impressed with Howard Cattle's views on education and child preparation for the future. We have had a wonderful experience in Mrs. Toth Kindergarten class! Thank you Howard Cattle!!
My daughter is at the end of her Kindergarten school year. I am very happy about how great her teacher has been and how awesome the activities and projects that my daughter has been able to do this year. Her teacher has a really great interactive format that makes learning fun and very positive for the children. The Kindergarten area is all enclosed in very high brick walls, which makes me feel secure about her safety, and the play ground is very high quality and safe. The girl scouts and PTA are wonderfully active, as well as many parent involvement opportunity. At Cattle it is only $8.00 per month, and the school provides a healthy snack everyday and milk or juice. It simplifies my mornings to not have to worry about packing a lunch for her. Awesome school!
I am not happy with this school in many ways and comparing to my daughters old school c.j. Morris Elementary regarding art, academic and computers.
Howard Cattle is a terrific school. The teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids. There is a music program and they focus on the arts and creativity as well as academics. Parent involvement is high, and the PTA is extremely active. The school has had 3 family nights so far (4-06) and 3 more are planned.
We moved here in 2004 and put our daughter's in 2nd and 4th Grades. They have said many times that they really enjoy this school and how great the teachers are. Our older daughter has been in the school play both years now and they have made several good friends. My wife and I have assisted in our daughter's classrooms for different activities the last 2 years. I highly recommend any parent(s) to check Howard Cattle and see for themselves what a great school this is. The principal has an 'open-door' policy too!
