I had a child graduate from Smms and he doing great in high school, his education at Smms prepared very well for high school. The school is very organized, from family events to sports, church, drop off etc, and the security is top notch. I have 2 more children attending Smms and can say the teachers in grades 1 thru 8 are top notch educators!!! I highly recommend the school to all parents. The Principal is very proactive regarding bullying, from parent meetings, speakers, and the fact that it is discussed very frequently no other school can compare! So I rate this school. 5 stars

I am so pleased with our school. I have two boys that began at this school at the age of 3 in their pre-school program. We have been at this school for the last 9 years. I love that my children begin and end their day with a prayer. My children are not only getting a school education but they are learning how to be great people as they age. As a working mother I have not a worry in the world when I leave my children at school for the day. The staff from the principal to the lunch staff is the most caring individuals. I like the small classrooms, the family involvement, the catholic teachings and especially uniforms. You get one chance with your children and I wouldn't have done it any other way!!!

We began to send our son to SMMS last year becsue we were extremely unhapy with public school. My husband and I attened private school when we were kids and could not get used to the way public school operates. Our son was angry every day after school and said how much he hated it until we sent him to SMMS. At SMMS, everyone is wonderful, the classrooms are alwasy clean, the teachers are very attentive, the kids are all well-behaved, and they are getting an excellent education. I don't worry about my son anymore because I know he is well taken care of. The cost is lower than the local Christian school and also more accepting. It is a positive environment with more opportunities than what other schools offer such as music, computers and spanish. My son is very happy, has made some good friends and LOVES SMMS. YOu will not be disappointed! We aren't! :)

If you want your child to be surrounded by other children who come from families that care as much about their academic and spiritual success as you do then this is the place to be. If you want to be part of a school that teaches high morals and values, has high parent participation, as well as allows parents a voice in decision making this is the place to be. The proof is in my child. My daughter began the 2nd grade reading at a 3.8 grade level. She takes accelerated reading tests just because she wants to succeed. She loves going to school each day and wants to volunteer for everything. She has a relationship with the Lord and I know when life s troubles come her way she will have her faith and a solid Catholic education foundation to help her positively overcome obstacles. The Principal is firm, just, caring and always present. The teachers are fun and amazing at pushing the levels of academia. The families are great too. It s awesome to see how SMMS families come together when someone is in need or has experienced a great loss. I love the annual camping trip. SMMS is awesome. I hope this review helps other parents choose the right foundation for their child. God Bless.

I love Saint Margaret Mary! I have two daughters that have attended this school since they were three years old. I love most of the teachers they always have the best interested in the child. Most teachers there are really there for the love of the students not just a pay check. The expiereince I have with faculty has be phenomenal. I constantly recommend this school to those around me. My Family is really pleased with this school

After researching several schools, from Corona to Ontario, we enrolled our daughter into SMMS. My wife and I could not be happier! From the very first meeting with the staff, other parents, and workers at the school, our expectations have been met and then some. SMMS truly is a wonderful environment that honestly takes your child into their lives and guides them from K to 8th grade. If you are looking to give your child the best education and better their lives going into High School, then SMMS is the school for you!

SMMS is the BEST school in the Chino Valley! I researched private schools from Claremont to Upland. We are so happy with our choice. It is a phenomenal school with a Christian environment where kids can excel in every area especially academically. Our son is in 6th grade and he is reading at the 12.9 level. Our daughter is 3rd grade reading at the 6.2 level. Our kids love science, computer lab, PE, foreign language, and music. They are SMMS is UNIQUE and very special!! We are very blessed to be with teachers and families who care.

My son is about to graduate from SMMS. His experience there has made him confident and self empowering. He is thrilled about going to high school and very proud that he attended SMMS for eight years. I recommend this great school because I believe in the Catholic education and feel it is very important in a child's life.

I have a 2nd grader and 5th grader. I am very pleased with the changes the principal of the school has made. Compared to the public schools in the area, my children are far more advanced.

We have a 6th grader and a 3rd grader at St. Margaret Mary School. We transferred from another Christian School that we thought we could never beat. But, happily, we are pleased with SMMS. We are impressed w/the academics and we especially love the Junior High School program. The teachers are exceptional and devoted to the kids. This school is a family-oriented, Christian inspired school... exactly what we want for our children.

I've had one son graduate from SMMS and another son still attending. The close sense of community at the school is hard to beat. The academics are excellent and the staff is superb. My husband and I both had miserable experiences when we were in Jr. High. Our son had an awesome Jr. High experience thanks to the Jr. High teachers who work closely together and care about the students.

I have two girls attending this school, pre-K and 1st. They receive a very good academic programs, high quality teachers comparing to other public schools (which are scored 8-10 over 10 points) around the area. They are introduced to many different activities, outside field trips even at Kindergarten level.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
