Both of my children attended this school and received excellent educations. The teachers work with each student at their own levels. Both kids were well ahead of others when they entered into high school.

Countrywood is an excellent academic year-round private school. My daughters have been attending this school for 8 years and they are getting a fantastic education. The school is small so my girls have never been in a class larger than 12 students so I know they are getting the attention they need in the classroom. The whole staff is excellent and is a second family to us. The school is located near a busy street but the school is fenced with a sturdy fence and the kids are always supervised. The computers are older but very functional with educational software. The school lunches are always served with vegetables and milk. They provide great after school care and off-session activities, which is great for working parents. There is a lot of parent involvement in helping with school activities. This school provides an education that surpasses public schools at an affordable tuition rate. Take it from a parent who has children attending this school not from someone who visited the school once.

I previously attended Countrywood Elementary following my sister and brother. I am currently studying for my PhD at the University of Georgia, where I received a scholarship to attend. Countrywood was probably the biggest benefactor in my social adaptation and fast learning skills. While my experiences varied from peer to peer, I was always able to (and frequently engaged in) study far beyond my grade level, having entered into Damien (a prestigious high school) well past Algebra. The teachers were always so kind and interested in my growth. While the school was small and the resources appear meager, it is not the case. I always had access to the newest books and book fair was ALWAYS a wonderful time at the school. I recall science day being quite challenging. Absolutely visit the school and meet the teachers, you will be far from disappointed.

Visit school before signing your child up. Classrooms appear to need maintenance and updating, ie old computers. Look closely at lunch menu which is brought in from fat food restaurants. Be sure to visit this school as it is located on a very busy street with low fencing, no grass.

The staff at Countrywood did an excellent job with my two children, especially by giving them a lot of individual attention in areas where they need more help. The environment at Countrywood is great, like you would want in your own family. Because of the small class sizes, my kids were able to learn at their own pace, ending up almost 1 year ahead of their grade level. Both were reading by the time they finished kindergarten. The teachers really seeem to care about the students at Countrywood. The kids all know each other, help each other in the classroom, and are very friendly. The staff absolutely does not permit any behavior that would make a student feel threatened or uncomfortable. The cost was very rasonable, considering the quality of the education my children received.
