Thank you to the teacher brave enough to post the truth on 6/17/09. As a teacher and former Wilson parent, I agree with the teacher's statments. The district is, and to my understanding, has always been disorganized and dysfunctional. As a parent, I regret ever having placed my child in such a detrimental place. As an educator, I am appalled that they still receive funding. Alas, after my 3 years in Chowchilla, I have come to the conclusion that Wilson students as well as other Chowchilla students will continue to be shorted due to lack of parental involvement and because some of us simply couldn't stick around long enough to survive the battle for reform at a personal cost. Simply look at the numbers in all Chowchilla schools, there is a clear, yet unmentioned, race/disability division. I know, I taught in Chowchilla!

This is a very disorganized school district. Most people don't stick around for long. Teachers are are discouraged from giving homework and few kids fail because teachers are critisized for giving Ds and Fs. The district has pumped all funds for modernization into Regan and keeps putting off plans to update Wilson. I would not let my own children go to this school. There are a lot of great kids at this school and they deserve better.

This is a very good school. The only thing is that it doesn't have any classes like languages. They have some very excellent teachers in this school. The 3 years I was there I really loved them. I think its an awesome school.

Wilson middle School is a place where each kid has a great 3 years. Their sport teams are great. They have many things to chose from. If they don't play sports they can do colorgaurd for the marching band, or be in marching band, consert band,or graduation band. No matter what each kid has a very good learning experence & has a fun time doing it!
