Quite impressed with curriculum and organization of teachers. Had 2 children attending one year ago that were challenged by their classes.

I think the quality of education is above average in comparison to other schools in the distirct. The teachers are dedicated and most of them go above and beyond. The absence of music, art and p.e. type classes is troublesome but pretty standard for California public schools. It puts more pressure on the teachers to fill that role. The parent involvement is extremely high in my opinion and is a great positive point for our school. I would like to see an honors type program for the students who need it and deserve it. Overall, Thurgood Marshall is a great school in a good community.

Academic program was excellent, but school lacks any additional support such a tutoring for children that may need a bit more help. Principal and staff are first rate.

We are very pleased with the quality of the academic programs at Marshall! The teachers are outstanding (and loving!). I am involved in my daughters classroom often.

This school is a very well established school, and the princible Peter Matz is a great leader to this school.

My daughter has been attending Marshall for the past two years. We like the school, but have serious problems with the curriculum that is controlled by the state. My daughter is not being challenged. She completes her homework before she gets home and she is not being prepared for higher academics. She is bored and rapidly loosing interest in school. The CA school system is in serious trouble!

I am so happy my daughter is going to Marshal this year! The teachers really care, and Mr. Matz tops it all off to make Marshal a excellent school.

Members of the school since its opening four years ago. Could not ask for a more nurturing, safe and focused school. The encouragement and support the students get is unparallel. Open door policy with a principal who is visible and very much a part of all the students day to day activities. Keep going Marshall, you are the best.
