I have attended this school for some time now, and I feel myself having a better selfesteem! I havent graduated because I chose not too, but overall I have seen the success of many students I know parents and outsiders may have not thought to be successful. This school is very helpful and gets the students involved into the community more than I have seen in other schools. I've seen students change their lives while attending this school for the better. I recommend this school for any and all youth. I have three more sessions to attend until I can Graduate, and I really don't want to leave. I know I'll be coming back to help! 6 to 7 week term sessions presented a learning pace which is a good match with my student's talents. Teachers and students get to know each other with 2 hour daily sessions. Security seems effective and friendly, mostly. The office administrators are accessible, and appear to have a handle on things. I'd like to see regular parent communications on a weekly basis, if requested. Maybe more reporting to parents would draw them in and get some volunteering in the office, and get some participation in a parent group going, too. I think it is important in this school that success is possible, and reflects a good semester grade for a class within a few weeks' time. This generates some enthusiasm for learning, and a new interest in going to college, for my student. Many things have changed for the better since we started at the MAAC. We like it.

My daughter was their first graduate. I recommend this school to any parent who cares about the future of their child. Both my children have gone on to do great thing in life and I feel this school had some influence in their success.
