St. Pius X School has dedicated teachers and staff. The biggest asset of the school is its CATHOLIC philosophy. The willingness to SERVE by all its members is always evident. The school does very well staying up to date with educational methods. There was a time when the material our children were learning was beyond any help we may give them at home, so the after school tutoring and homework programs were a bonus for all of us. Our children received an education that is sustaining them through life. They value the education they received at St. Pius X School and they refer to their teachers and what they leaned often. They are faith filled and have strong values.

We came from another Catholic School. St. Pius is by far an exceptional Catholic School. The academics exceeded our expectations. This school pushes academics by the way it promotes extracurricular programs. It makes a big deal about the Acadameic Decathalon among other private schools. St. Pius requires all middle school students to prepare and hopefully get picked to participate in the the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair. I am so pleased at the emphasis that the teachers and the parents put on academics. For a private school, little notice is given to name brands, or social status like many private schools. This school and its parents have the right idea on what our focus should be: academics and Catholic values.

This is a great school, my son is a graduate of this school and my daughter currently attends. The principal has been there for a long time, she has an extensive background in teaching and leadership. I am glad my children attended a great school that focuses on academics and christian living. The staff are very united and welcoming, you see them at all the functions. The office people are very professional and pleasant. This school offers tutoring and homework center free of charge. The school is always involved with the community and assists other organizations with donations like St. Vincent's De Paul, orphanages, etc. A very caring community. Their boards are very active and looking for the best interests of the parents and students. Well done St. Pius X!

My 14 year old son gradutated from St. Pius and entered Mater Dei HS last year. I was pleased to find out that our principal (mrs. Hanson) received a call from the principal at Mater Dei HS indicating that for the first time in the history of MD 5 students (out of ten) with top grades in the placement test came from St. Pius, 1st and 2nd place were awarded full scholarships. I still have a 2nd grader enrolled and I am very happy with the school community, the values, discipline, their approach to bullying, dress code, and their commitment to improve the learning experience for the children adding tools and resources.

I am a graduate of St. Pius X and now my daughter attends. She is engaged in her learning, taught Catholic values, enjoys music, art, and computer lab and is enrolled in after school sports. Mrs. Hanson the principal takes the time to talk to the students and the parents, she is never too busy. The teachers are highly motivated and qualified. We love St. Pius x!

We have 3 children enrolled at SPX. Aside from the christian values that is reinforced daily in school, they learn to become responsible for their actions. It is wonderful to see them work hard and not come to you for every single question. Learning is fun and they have other activities as well

Do you want your child to excel in middle school? You do not have to look far. From grades 1-8, kids are being prepared to the next level especially once they reached grade 5. Catholic teachings and upbringing is what I grew up it and that is what I wanted my children to have too. I received questions of why a private school? The answer is simple. They are worth it. Not only the schools helps out the parents and vice-versa, we are helping also the community to achieve a better generation. This school has it from the principal down to the last teacher. They saves you money too if you sum everthing up. I am glad I enrolled my kids to this school.
