I cannot say enough great thing about this school, excellent & caring teachers, strong leadership, parents and kids who wants to be there. The charter school is just a few years old, so you have to take that into consideration when you are looking at the school scores. The school didn't set the foundation for all the students at this time...Over all we are thrill about being at this school...
Love the school there are just not enough good things to say about how caring the teachers are as well the Admin staff. Thank God there are still schools like this around!
We are so happy we moved our children from a West Sacramento school to this school for the 2008-2009 school year. It is such a close knit school with a wonderful staff that makes a point to get to know the children. Our daughter who was struggling with reading at her last school has improved greatly with the help of her wonderful teacher! Not to mention our girls now LOVE going to school and look forward to it every morning.
This is a wonderful school. I really feel like it is extended family here. All the staff and parents are so wonderful and friendly and you get a real sense of community here. The education is great and my daughter who is in Kindergarten is really excelling and starting to read some words! I recommended it to my sister & best friend and now their children go here also! Its a great school!
Wonderful school with great committment by all to teach and nourish children. Children feel the love in this school and it shows with the little to no conflict that exsists between the students.
I moved both my children to Delta for the 2008-2009 school year. It was the best move my husband and I could have made. They're so much happier at Delta than their last school. The class size is much smaller so they get more individual attention. Academics are more thorough plus they have physical education on a daily basis. The staff and atmosphere is wonderful. It's like a tight knit family and everyone's included. I will keep my kids at Delta for the remainder of Grammar plus Junior High and High School.
We recently moved to the rural community of Clarksburg, and are very happy with our decision to relocate to such a beautiful and friendly community. However, the move was a little challenging for my 10 year old daughter. She was very worried about how she would fit in and make new friends at her new school, as most children would feel. I was relieved that she quickly adapted and made friends right away. The school s curriculum is great too! Delta offers P.E. on a regular basis, they encourage student and parent involvement, and my daughter has been exposed to more math and science. I am very happy with the school s program overall!
This school is amazing. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful. The children are all very happy and my child is excelling beyond all my expectations. I can not wait to see what happens in the coming years.
My Kids Love Their School! Delta Elementary Charter has been the perfect fit for my 10 and 8 year old children. The small school (only 130 students) means that my children know all their schoolmates, teachers, etc. and feel safe and secure - which are critical to learning. The school believes in a balanced curriculum, so my kids take band, art, drama, Spanish, extracurricular sports as well as rigorous core instruction. The small town rural surroundings are a treat for us suburbanites (commuting from W. Sac only 12 miles away). For working families, there is a bus and after school program.
